Kitchen Concerns

Please note that groups intending to use the church kitchen should plan to have their own preparation and clean-up people.  The Kitchen Team is not available to work for extra activities.

Remember to keep this building free of fragrances, so that all may worship and fellowship in safety and good health.

Annual Spring Auction

Well, we GOT into the Spring Spirit!  Last evening, tables were set, dishes cooked, auction items were displayed and the auction began!  Once again, it was a very sucessful event and this will help see us through the next few months, financially (see financial up-date)! Thanks to Cheryl Powell and her team for volunteering their time and efforts “behind the scenes”!

Hilde in Parksville

At this point in time, Rev. Hilde has assumed her role as a minister, alongside Rev. Foster Freed, at Knox United in Parksville.  The Congregation at Knox is preparing a service of ‘ritual blessing’ for Hilde on Sunday, May 18th as she will be assuming the duties of President of BC Conference during the 79th General Meeting of BC Conference at Capilano College from May 22 – 25th.   Colleen Cartledge, who was going to be on the Island during the May 18th service, offered to represent 100 Mile United Church and Rev. Teri Meyer of St. Andrew’s in Quesnel is representing the Cariboo Presbytery.  As a congregation, 100 Mile House United Church specifically supported Hilde in this journey towards being President of BC Conference.  May we know how valuable each of us is and continue to offer God’s gifts freely.
